The Landscape of a Memory explores the multidimensionality of memories. Through layers of transparent acetate, fragmentation is explored. The imagery is informed through my parents’ handwriting about their accounts of these memories. The piece presents photographs, original mark-making, and handwriting layered into transparent materials, both suspended from the ceiling in three-dimensional forms and compiled as pages of a book.
